CONSUS Project

QSKN is one of the partners working on the EU-Tempus Project ConSus ‘Connecting Science-Society Collaborations for Sustainability Innovations’, led by the Karl-Franzens-University of Graz, Austria. The project addresses the Western Balkan regional priority 'knowledge-triangle education-research-innovation'. QSKN is responsible for the Work Package 7, i.e. the quality monitoring and evaluation of the project implementation.

This project aims to establish a regional science (involving higher education and research)-society (involving practice) network for sustainability innovations in Albania and Kosovo. The project addresses the priority through establishing a science-society network for sustainable innovations and through developing and running workshops and trainings for the target groups to foster collaborations within this network. It also gives the opportunity to develop innovations, to share knowledge and to enhance sustainability.

Within the 2014 RCE Global Conference in Okayama/Japan the EU-Tempus project “ConSus”, led by the RCE Graz-Styria, was recognized as an “Outstanding Flagship Project”! The project was appreciated for its contribution to strengthen the connection and collaboration between higher education institutions, research and Education for Sustainable Development practice.
