“From word to action – Activism for youth work through innovation and creativity”

We have started a new project!

The aim of the project is to empower young people in Tirana, Korça, and Shkodra to be active in their community with a focus on youth work using innovation and creativity for social change preparing them to be successful in the public sphere as well as the labor market through the development of contemporary and value-added skills and competencies in the post-COVID-19 reality.

Specific goals / objectives

First, empowering young people through developing their capacity for youth work and activism through innovation and creativity.

Second, to concretely engage young people in a “Word to Action” campaign to solve concrete problems of their community with a focus on youth work by advocating local institutions, raising public awareness, and creating models of integrity through the application of knowledge from the training program.

Third, develop a strategic communication campaign and media engagement to raise awareness of decision-making institutions and the public about youth work and the promotion of youth models with integrity that use innovation, technology, and creativity for social change.

The project will be implemented from November 2021 – May 2022

The Center Science and Innovation for Development is the lead partner and the project will be implemented in partnership with the Center for Comparative and International Studies and ESN Albania.

The project is funded by the National Youth Agency.
