EDUFAIR | Strengthening AI Capacity in Higher Education
As the Quality Assurance, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) partner of the EDUFAIR Erasmus+ Project, the Center for Comparative and International Studies (CCIS) is committed to ensuring that project activities deliver measurable results, institutional impact, and sustainable change across higher education institutions in the Western Balkans.
Today marks another important milestone in the project’s implementation with the training “Applied AI for Universities: Teaching, Research and Administration”, hosted by the University “Ismail Qemali” of Vlora.
Delivered by experts from the University of Salento, the programme brings together academic staff, university leadership, and administrative professionals to strengthen institutional capacities for the responsible integration of Artificial Intelligence. Participants are exploring practical applications of AI in teaching and learning, research and innovation management, prompt engineering, instructional design, and university administration.
The training reflects EDUFAIR’s broader objective of supporting higher education institutions in developing ethical, inclusive, and sustainable approaches to Artificial Intelligence, while strengthening their digital transformation strategies.
Through its role in Quality Assurance, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL), CCIS continues to assess project progress, monitor results, capture lessons learned, and support evidence-based decision-making, ensuring that project activities generate long-term value for universities across Albania, Kosovo, and the wider Western Balkans.
