The Center for Comparative and International Studies (CCIS) has been appointed Grant Holder Institution for COST Action CA24167 – HUMAN-IT, a European research network dedicated to advancing interdisciplinary research on the future of human resource management, work, and digital transformation.
As Grant Holder, CCIS is responsible for the administrative, financial, and strategic management of the Action, supporting its effective implementation and facilitating collaboration among researchers, higher education institutions, businesses, and public organisations across Europe.
This appointment represents an important milestone for CCIS and reflects the organisation’s growing contribution to European research cooperation, international scientific networking, and the promotion of interdisciplinary research addressing the opportunities and challenges associated with artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and the future of work.
Through this role, CCIS will support the implementation of the Action’s scientific activities, including researcher mobility, networking events, capacity-building initiatives, collaborative research, and stakeholder engagement, while contributing to the development of evidence that informs policy and practice.
CCIS looks forward to working closely with the HUMAN-IT community to strengthen international partnerships, foster knowledge exchange, and advance research that supports more inclusive, sustainable, and human-centred approaches to digital transformation.
