The Center for Comparative and International Studies (CCIS) is pleased to present its 2025 Annual Report, reflecting a year of strengthened partnerships, international cooperation, and impactful initiatives across Albania and the wider region.
Throughout 2025, CCIS continued to advance its mission of promoting evidence-based policymaking, applied research, and institutional capacity-building. Working closely with public institutions, academia, civil society, international organizations, and local communities, we implemented initiatives that contributed to democratic governance, sustainable development, digital transformation, social inclusion, and innovation.
The year marked significant milestones, including initiatives that empowered young people, strengthened local governance, promoted inclusive education and employment, enhanced trust in official data, and fostered international research collaboration. Among the highlights was CCIS’ appointment as the Grant Holder Institution for COST Action CA24167 – HUMAN-IT, alongside the successful implementation of Erasmus+, COST, and other European initiatives that reinforced our contribution to research excellence and policy dialogue.
The 2025 Annual Report reflects the collective efforts of our team, partners, experts, and stakeholders, whose collaboration continues to strengthen CCIS’ contribution to more resilient, inclusive, and future-oriented societies.
