Digitcreshe Erasmus+ Project: CCIS Workshop on Bridging the Skills Gap in Albania’s Cultural and Creative Sectors

Spotlight on the Digitcreshe Erasmus+ Project: CCIS Workshop on Bridging the Skills Gap in Albania’s Cultural and Creative Sectors
The Cultural and Creative Sectors (CCS) in Albania and the Western Balkans face a significant challenge: a shortage of qualified professionals due to a gap between educational programs and industry requirements. While these programs often offer theoretical knowledge, they fall short in providing practical skills essential for success in the workplace, such as creative thinking, collaboration, and leadership.
As part of the impactful Erasmus+ project, DIGITCRESHE, CCIS and experts from Brain Nest Institute hosted an engaging workshop part of the Intensive Study program- work package 9 of the project, bringing together activists and experts to emphasize the potential of digital transformation as a powerful catalyst for Albania’s development.
At the CCIS workshop, we brought together a dynamic group of passionate youth activists from across Albania’s Creative and Cultural Industries. The event equipped them with tools and insights to take an active role in shaping a future where education aligns with industry demands, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared with the skills needed to succeed.
Led by Polytechnic University of Porto, the DIGITCRESHE Erasmus + project Funded by European Commission addresses this skills gap by aligning educational programs with market needs.
Join us in building a vibrant future for the Cultural and Creative Sectors in the Western Balkans!
