ENGAGEUROPE is a two-year project funded by the EU’s CERV Programme and led by SCiDEV. Running from February 2026 to September 2027, it unites civil society organizations and academic partners to foster youth civic engagement, dialogue, and data-driven advocacy regarding the future of the European Union and democratic governance.

The project focuses on building active European citizenship, specifically targeting young people aged 18 to 30 across partner countries in the Western Balkans and the EU.

Key Activities and Components:

The ENGAGEUROPE Community: A network for motivated youth to participate in transnational exchanges, capacity-building, and policy co-creation.

Advocacy Labs: Designed to help youth translate their visions into actionable policy insights and connect directly with EU-level discussions.

Youth & Democracy Forums: The initiative was launched in June 2026 with a major forum in Tirana and Shkodra, gathering students, policymakers, and activists from across Europe.
