“Environment for Non-Environmental CSOs” Online Workshop.

Yesterday, on 27 August 2024, our CCIS team had the fantastic opportunity to participate in the online workshop “Environment for Non-Environmental CSOs,” organized for youth CSOs from the WBT region.
Huge thanks to everyone who joined and shared their experiences, ideas, and challenges!
Special thank you to Mr. Toni Vidan from the European Environmental Bureau for his insightful contributions. Together, we learned:
How environmental issues impact the work of non-environmental CSOs and their communities
Key facts about the Green Deal and Green Agenda
The role of EU institutions in the green transition
Collaboration between environmental and non-environmental CSOs
The importance of bringing the EU Parliament into advocacy efforts
Connecting EU and local governments for faster impact
How youth CSOs can get involved in environmental protection
The power of media in advocating for change
What citizen sciences are and how the European Commission defines them
Funding opportunities for non-environmental CSOs in the environmental sector
Engaging youth in advocacy for stronger contributions to policy improvement
We’re excited to take these insights forward and continue our work towards a greener, more sustainable future! ✨                             #GreenTransition #YouthForChange #CSOs #Sustainability #EUGreenDeal #WBTregion #EnvironmentalAdvocacy

European Day of Remembrance for Victims of Totalitarian Regimes 2024.

At CCIS, it’s part of our mission to honor the European Day of Remembrance for Victims of Totalitarian Regimes.
We’ve already implemented two important youth projects on this topic, co-funded by the former European Commission’s Europe for Citizens program, which is now part of the CERV Remembrance program. Additionally, same objective working with youth about remembrance we implemented another project supported by Tirana Youth Capital and the Municipality of Tirana.
We remember so we don’t forget!
✨ CCIS is committed to helping young people understand the past and build a future rooted in democracy.

International Youth Day 2024!

On this International Youth Day, CCIS proudly celebrates the vital role that young people play in driving digital innovation and shaping a sustainable future. This year’s theme, “From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development,” highlights the power of youth in developing technology to address global challenges.
At CCIS, we are committed to empowering youth across Albania, the Western Balkans, and Europe through local and international initiatives.
Currently, we are implementing two Erasmus Youth Capacity Building projects supported by the European Commission EYDR and Youth Observers Model—which focus on promoting digital rights and enhancing youth involvement in policy-making.
By celebrating the digital contributions of young people today, we are inspired to continue fostering innovation and collaboration towards a more sustainable and inclusive world.
